🎨 THE ART

Q: Is this legal? Are you art thieves?
A: Completely legal! We only work with public domain art, meaning its copyright has expired (usually 100+ years old). Think of us as archivists who restore, optimize, and frame the classics so you don’t have to.

Q: Why pay for public domain art? Can’t I print it myself?
A: Technically, yes! But we:

• Restore cracks, fading, and pixelation (so your print doesn’t look like a 19th-century fax).

• Curate collections that actually match modern decor (no “random medieval battle” vibes).

• Handle printing/shipping worldwide (no bulk orders or DIY headaches).
  You’re paying for convenience + quality, like buying a latte instead of farming your own coffee beans.

Q: Do you use AI to alter the art?
A: Never. We digitally enhance only to fix damage (like scratches or discoloration), but we don’t generate, AI-ify, or let robots near these masterpieces.

Q: Can I request custom sizes or artworks?
A: Not right now! We focus on carefully curated pieces that print perfectly. Not every artwork can resize without looking wonky; we’ve tested to save you the trouble.

Q: Are there any artworks you won’t sell?
A: Hard pass on racist, exclusionary, or nude art (per Shopify’s policies and our belief that art should welcome everyone).

📦 PRINTING & SHIPPING

Q: How long until I get my print?
A: We’re not squirrels hoarding pre-made art, but we're just as industrious! Everything’s printed fresh for you:

• Production: 1–2 days (depending on material).

• Shipping: 2–7 days (we use local printers worldwide to avoid glacier-speed international mail).

Q: What countries do you ship to?
A: Most of them! But not every single one (ex: places with carrier restrictions). Check our Shipping Policy for details.

Q: What if my print arrives damaged?
A: We’ll fix it! Email us ASAP (with photos) at artgallery217@gmail.com, and we’ll replace it, no “prove it’s damaged” hoops to jump through.

Q: What materials are used?
A: Options include:

• Matte paper (elegant, no glare).

• Glossy metal (vibes like a museum display).

• Stretched canvas (ready-to-hang, no frame needed).

Q: Do you have a favorite piece?
A: Asking us to pick is like asking a parent to name their favorite child. (But secretly: anything with dramatic lighting or spookiness.)

Q: Can I cancel or change my order?
A: Maybe! Message us immediately; once printing starts, we can’t stop it (like a 17th-century artist mid-brushstroke).
